Another good pre-exercise is to
hit the devilstick back and forth with the handsticks while kneeling down.
Try to keep the handsticks as parallel as possible. If they point outwards
and form a "V", the devilstick will drop forwards. If they point inwards and
form an "A" the stick will drop towards your body. On the other side this
can be also useful for corrections. After a while try to let the
devilstick lift off by moving it a little bit more upwards. Before loosing
control put it back on the floor.
Finally try to rise slowly and do the idle while standing. Good luck ! |
